Thunder Bay: 1,400 km For The Shot
Fifteen hours north of our home base, same standard. This shoot proved the crew model travels: gear, crew and edit pipeline, all in-house, anywhere in Ontario.
The brief
Why We Went
This trip was an expansion, not just a shoot: 1,400 kilometres from our Barrie headquarters to Thunder Bay to meet business owners face-to-face, launch new client partnerships, and produce content across multiple industries. Strategy meetings, onboarding sessions, production days, drone operations, campaign launches and relationship-building dinners — one road trip.
The challenge
The objective was simple: build relationships, acquire new clients, launch campaigns, produce content, and strengthen NewLife's presence in Northern Ontario. Rather than relying on virtual meetings, the team travelled to meet business owners in person and understand the local market.

The result
What It Unlocked
The trip came home with three new client relationships, campaign launches in motion and a hundred-plus creative assets — plus something a virtual call can't produce:
- 3 new client partnerships
- Multiple campaign launches
- 100+ creative assets
- An expanded presence in Northern Ontario
- Long-term relationships built face-to-face
The strongest partnerships are built in person. That's why we drove.
What this proves
The Point
If we'll drive 1,400 km for a client's story, the monthly shoot at your business is easy.
